The exposed New York City High Line has long been a site of interest to Artist Christine Corday. The raised railway relic is a symbol of the potential of the City's unused infrastructure and explored the potentiality of Art's foundational role as a City's true infrastructure during the length of its exhibition. KC Fabrications created and installed the seamless three-ton work of weathering steel under the West 25th Street portion of the High Line where visitors physically encountered the sculpture through touch, as well as walking through and sitting upon on the Form. UNE as all of Corday's sculptures are fabricated by KC with the specific purpose to be worn by the tide of human interaction during the tour of its unexpected encounters.
